How to throw a pool party!

Summer is here!!!!!!! I no longer have to spend my entire day in my classroom! What better way to kick off Summer than to have a bunch of my favorite Houston bloggers join me for a pool party!!!!
I received these items in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are 100% my own.
In case you weren’t aware Houston was hit by a ton of rain. Some ladies couldn’t even make my party because the flooding was so bad where they lived. I arrived at SkyHouse right before it started to pour. My girl Jaclyn from Beauty and the Binky was already there setting up! What an amazing friend she is right!?!
So you want to throw a pool party and have no idea where to start…. Here are my tips for throwing a fun pool party!!
1. Find a venue and determine how many guests you can have.
2. Pick a theme! I went with the shop that could provide the most of what I wanted. Shindigz was clearly my choice!
3. Decide what food you want to serve.
4. Contact sponsors for swag bags!
As always I am here to answer any questions you have about working with brands or hosting parties!
The amazing Ciao Bello provided the delicious hors d’oeuvres and yummy drinks!

Shindigz for personalized party goodies!!!!

If you need floats or party decor then look no further!! Shindigz is your one stop shop!!!!! They have everything and can even personalize your party goods!

The cutest straws are from one of my favorite Instagram shops Dixie and Twine !

Juan was our awesome DJ! Check them out on Instagram or here . If you throw a party you need music! He played every song I requested and was so nice!!!

Thank you Nothing Bundt Cakes The Woodlands for our amazing cake!!!!!!

A huge thank you to my girl, Jaclyn for all your help!
I am so thankful for these beautiful ladies above!!! If you haven’t connected with you local bloggers I totally urge you to! They have been supportive and so sweet!

Thank you to my amazing sponsors who contributed to each blogger’s swag bags!!!

Shindigz is offering free shipping with a purchase of $79 or more! Use code SZSHIPITFREE and Elaine Turner is offering 20% if you use my code ASHMORE20 and is good only at Houston area stores through July 8th.

This little pool party looks so much fun. Love the floral dresses and the floaties. I wish I knew someone with a pool so I could float around all day and get a good tan. I wanna do something like this will bloggers in my area. You all had a wonderful time I'm sure.
