Hello! I’m Hannah, one half of the sister duo behind our blog Honey & Betts. I have one daughter, Annaliese, who is almost 2. And our second baby will be arriving in late September. We live in Edmonton, Alberta. I am a stay at home mom while my husband works full time, but he will be leaving his job to attend his first year at Law School this fall.
My sister and I initially started our blog because she was interested in modeling but did not meet the height requirement to be signed with a modeling agency. Though we cover more than just fashion – our blog has become our source of creativity, a window into our lifestyle and a documentation of our lives right now. 
With my first pregnancy, as many first time moms-to-be are, I was on top of everything – coming up with names every month, reading every article on Pinterest on how to care for a baby, and researching the best of the best baby gear. With this second pregnancy none of those tasks have crossed my mind (I have already decided on names, don’t worry this baby won’t be nameless) due to the crazy, attention-seeking toddler I have to entertain all day.
But the one thing that I have done this pregnancy as much as I did with the first is: pray and read bible verses for our unborn child.
As a tradition we make a baby blanket with my mother for each baby, as she did for all her children. My husband and Itake time to research and read bible verses and on these blankets we have a chosen bible verse embroidered onto it.For Annaliese we chose from the book of Exodus chapter 14 verse 14 “ God will fight for you: you need only to be still”.
I like the idea of how children use their blankets as protection when they sleep, and have chosen verses that I will be able to pray over them and teach them the meaning so that
when they are afraid they will be able to apply the word of God into their situation even
