This girl right here will be ONE in ONE day!!!!!!!!! I am just in shock that a whole year has flown by! I feel like it was just yesterday that we found out we were pregnant with her after trying for so long and losing her brother/sister ( not sure). God is so good and I praise Him everyday for loaning me one of His precious angels!
This picture is from today. We went with another fellow instagram mama! We had so much fun! Well if you have a pre-schooler and baby you know how hard it is… at least for me. I am so blessed with a job that I love and have the opportunity to be home during the summer! I love schedules and I love sleep so this summer it took me a little while to get my day going after my usual coffee!
So here is what a typical day in the life of an almost ONE year old looks like!
7:15-8:00 this is usually when Ainsley wakes up. Today it was 7:15. As of 2 days ago I have weaned her from her morning bottle and I was SO nervous to do this! She loves her goats milk. I decided to offer it cold and in a sippy with a bowl of cheerios on the floor next to bubba while watching a show.
Before I weaned I would give her a bottle in the rocking chair every morning.
after her milk I take her to the kitchen and prepare her breakfast. She likes mini pancakes, mini waffles, toast, scrambled eggs, maple brown sugar oatmeal, vanilla yogurt. I also offer fruit.
We play in the backyard or in the toy room for the next hour or so.
10ish IF we are home she goes down for a nap. This summer has been very chaotic with twice a week chiropractic appointments at 10. Now we only go once a week to get adjusted. If she does nap it is a maximum of 2 hours.
11:30-12 LUNCH This girl loves to eat. For lunch she likes to have turkey, grilled cheese, pasta plain or with sauce, avocado, cheese cubes, strawberries, blackberries, applesauce, grilled chicken. I offer another cup of cold goats milk during lunch.
12-2 PLAYTIME- we have been eating out a lot this summer but when we are not we eat at home and then play at the park, go to the library, pool, Oakland LOVES playing soccer in the backyard and Ains swings while we play. We usually run errands every single day too! I have been going to stores more lately to prepare for Ainsley’s 1st birthday! I am all about a good deal and feel like if I go to a store everyday I won’t miss out on something spectacular for her party! Haha
2ish- Afternoon nap time!
4:00 snack again and play!
5:00 we have been doing a good job about going to the Y on Mondays and Wednesdays as a family at this time. So they go play at the Y while Jerod and I work out together 🙂 LOVE this time!
6:00- DINNER time! She eats everything!!!!!! Pizza is hands down her favorite! She mainly repeats what she had the previous day for lunch. I try and rotate dishes so doesn’t have the same thing all day for lunch and dinner.
play time and a show with bubby after dinner.
between 7-7:30 BATH she loves the water and this time to play! I put her night time lotion on every night after her bath.
8:00 BEDTIME! She gets a bottle of warmed goats milk, we read 2-3 books, I sing and pray over her. We go say goodnight to her birds ( wall art by the light that says He took them in his arms and blessed them.) She touches it and then SHE turns out her light by pulling the switch down. It’s so cute. I absolutely love this time because I get to put her down and have every night since she was born! This time is really special to me because I am gone all day. After she is down Oakland is next at 8:30! 🙂
Now if we go somewhere like a friend’s house or dinner her schedule is definitely altered and I do not stick to it. Like tonight! We got home from our friends at 9!!
There’s her typical schedule 🙂
Thanks for reading!
XOXO,

So fun to read another baby's schedule! Why is she going to the chiropractor? I've heard great things about taking babies! I took Eloise once when she was tiny for reflux, but didn't keep up with it.
