I still cannot believe Ainsley is not 12 months old but almost 14 months! Planning parties really make me happy. I tend to go overboard and buy way too much. Pinterest and Instagram really helped me with her party! I wanted to do pink and gold there was no doubt about the color scheme. I also really love polka dots so I had to incorporate that somewhere!
I wanted her party to be after her first nap which is usually around 10:30. Her party started at 2:00. That gave me plenty of time to get everything ready that morning. I cut all the fruit the night before. I made the vanilla covered pretzels that morning. They took like 10 minutes and are so easy!
Her party was so much fun but it was really hard to talk to everyone, like any party is! I feel like I just get to say hi, offer them a drink, and then chase Ainsley around! She had a blast and didn’t want to take her 2nd nap.
