Hello,
I’m the mom behind Loving Littles Blog. I have two littles Owen 7 years and Ella 8 months. I live in Vancouver, BC area with Owen Ella and my spouse Drew. I’m currently on maternity leave and started to write as a way to connect with other moms, talk about my crazy days as a new mom to two and to document special things for my children. I love what I do and who I am. I hope you enjoy my post and I defiantly hope you can agree to many of the following!

After baby number 2 this “Mom Thing” seems like it’s catching on. Everyday I’m reminded of habits that seem to stick. The daily crazy. The mom life. We’ve been there done that. Nothing scares us and nothing gets past us. We seen and heard it all. All part of being a mom.
I’ve made up my list of “You know your a mom when….” If you have any to share please do so.
…Instead of running away from vomit you find yourself running towards it, cupping your hands to catch it.
…You know every character from Minecraft. Frozen. etc.
…Your sleeve is used as a tissue
…You secretly wish every store had a drive thru.
…A quiet little is never to be trusted
…You wake up with extra people in your bed. All your own children hopefully…
…Uninterrupted bathroom time is a romantic gift from your spouse
…You sing out loud your daily tasks
…You clean your house, car and baby with baby wipe
…You hear your mother’s voice coming out of your own mouth
…Your new mantra “dirty hair, don’t care”
…Perfume and deodorants is considered a shower
…Nap time rolls around and your zoned out watching treehouse
…Anyone says “My tummy hurts”… you ask when the last time they had a poop
…You have no idea why rooms have doors. Every time a door is closed a little comes and opens it.
…A walk in the park is never that. A fun outing turns into madness, questioning why you thought that it was such a great idea in the first place.
…Happy hour starts after bedtime and the littles are asleep. Woot woot
…Your salvia cleans faces
…End up reheating your morning coffee 3 times a day. One day I will get to one reheat
…You cut your husband’s sandwiches into fours
…You eat chocolate hiding in a closet
…Instead of napping when baby naps you clean the house, pluck your brows, randomly get distracted on Pinterest. Realize you need a nap at the exact moment your little wakes up. #fail
…You say at least once a day “I can’t do this” but know you can and you will do it! Because you’re a mom, a damn good one at that!
