I have been teaching going on 6 years now and receiving peace from the Lord is the only way I’ve been able to continue. God has truly
Given me a heart to teach children AND their parents.
I leave my house by 7 am and get home by 4:30 everyday. That only gives me about 3 hours with Ainsley. This is where I struggle…. I know I’ve been called by God to teach but I’ve also been called by God to be a mother. Finding that balance hasn’t been easy and I still ask God for peace about working. I thank God Oakland gets to be at my school. It truly is amazing getting to see him throughout my day…. Either playing, learning, or getting disciplined. 😉
There is a season for everything under God.
Whether you’re working, staying home, working from home, or not working at all God is in the midst of it all. In those roles he wants you to rely upon his strength, NOT our own. We can not make it alone.
We need God. Ladies we also need each other. We need to build each other up. Just because we have different roles doesn’t make us any better than one another.
Let’s strengthen each other by speaking only what is useful and helpful to each other.
Work is hard but it is also a blessing.
Life is not easy and it is not any easier being a follower of Jesus.
“Therefore my beloved brethren be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the lord. Knowing that your toil { work }is not done in vain in the Lord!” 1 Timothy 15:58
That was the verse my 1st graders had to memorize this week. I am in awe of how I also can apply my Student’s verses to my life and how applicable it is when I need it most!
We are blessed to be a blessing. Be a light to those around you. Love others with your actions and words. May you be filled with blissful joy today!

I love this! Thanks for the great reminders. I'm always so inspired by mothers who work outside of the home, and you are doing a great thing shaping little minds! 😊

I love this so much!!! I was once a work away from home mama and it was definitely hard work. Working at home can be hard to, but I wouldn't trade being home with my kiddos for anything in the world.
