Outside the Frame// Link up: Introductions

Thanks for stopping by! Today is easy, it’s all about introductions! 
The link-up is called Outside the Frame and the aim is to draw Mama’s together who are willing to be open and honest about life outside the frame of the camera.

So here we go!

About me:  I’m Brittany and I live in Texas and always have! I was adopted at birth and met my biological mom( she passed away on Halloween 2013) and know my biological dad( we met in 2014) I am married to my college sweetheart of 7 years. We have 2 children/ Oakland, 6 and Ainsley, 2. This is my 6th year teaching 1st grade and I absolutely love this calling on my life. Is it hard? Yes Is it worth it to speak truth and God’s love into their precious lives? Yes Is it hard being a working mom? YES

I started blogging in April of 2013 and really just wanted to put my thoughts down and encourage other moms on this journey we’ve been called to go on. I have actually met a few bloggers in person and love the community!
I love the Lord so much and gave my life to him when I was 15 and then was baptized that same year. Growing up I played volleyball, soccer, tennis, and basketball. I loved sports and was never a fan of dancing, gymnastics, or ballet.
I went to Dallas Christian College and have my Bachelors in Bible and Education.

My heart for this blog is to reach other women who don’t have it together like me. 🙂 I want to uplift and encourage my readers. I want to share God’s love for them. I want to also promote and share small shops especially those on Instagram !

  1. Brittany! I love this!! We are so similar in so many ways! I also have my degree in early childhood and LOVED teaching! I stay home now, but I respect working Moms and respect GREATLY those working Moms who work with kids!! That's a tough job (that doesn't get much credit 'cause most people think first grace is easy peasy) and I'm sure you are great at it!!! You are beautiful and so is your family!
