Jerod and I were on a roll having date nights once a week and then we become busier and busier! Now Oakland is playing t-ball and it is consuming a few nights a week! We love being busy and we love being together!
This weekend we got the chance to stay at the DoubleTree Hotel & Suites Houston by the Galleria !!!! Kokua Hospitality just renovated this hotel and it looks fabulous! Upon checking in we were greeted with bottles of water and their hot, fresh delicious cookies! When I stated my name the sweetest girl called me a VIP member! That felt pretty awesome! 🙂
We then headed to the bar where I had the best pina colada! The room we stayed in was a 3 room suite! It was amazing and would be the perfect room to stay in if you are travelling with little ones!
We had a balcony, kitchen, living room, dining area, bedroom, and the cleanest bathroom! It felt like we were staying in our own apartment!
The hotel is in a fabulous location in Houston! Right down the street from the Galleria ( amazing shopping) and across the street from the coolest restaurant/bar that my husband found called TheWestEnd !
We ordered room service and it came extremely quickly! The pizza was delicious!
If you are in Houston and want a nice getaway I would highly suggest staying at this hotel! If you are not in Houston and want to do some amazing shopping at the Galleria and stay down the street stay here!
