Ainsley Nicole, You are my miracle baby. You surprised your mommy when I was going through one of the hardest things a mother has to deal with. I had just had a miscarriage and thought conceiving again would be difficult. THEN I saw a faint line. I tried to not get my hopes up. I called my Dr. and scheduled to have a pregnancy test in her office that week. The results were positive!! We were pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved carrying you and I was never sick during my pregnancy with you. When I was getting a manicure at 38 weeks I started to get HEAVY contractions. I didn’t have any with Oakland. I was in horrendous pain and rushed home to pack our bags and head to the hospital… later that night you were born.
You had beautiful red hair and blue eyes…. just like your daddy. You looked nothing like me. You latched on right away but then had trouble staying latched on. I tried using a nipple shield but it just wasn’t working so I did what I knew to do and that was PUMP. I pumped exclusively with Oakland for 10 months. I pumped night and day for you. I pumped in the car. I loved it. I never got to breastfeed you in public and that’s okay. I was so thankful to provide you with my milk regardless of how you got it.

Now look at you!!!! You are 3 YEARS OLD SWEET GIRL!!!!!!!!!!! Wherever we go someone always stops to compliment your hair. You love sticking your tongue out. You love the movie Annie and Frozen! You do not like loud noises. You get scared really easily. You do every. single. thing Oakland does. You love having holdies. You love Little People and baby dolls!!!! You are not fully potty trained yet. You love gymnastics and bossing people around. You are so sweet and so quick to say ” I’m so so sorry!” You love singing worship songs with mommy and that melts my heart. You are really good at praying out loud and always thank God for your blessings and pasta. You wear a 3t and size 8 in shoes. You went to the Dentist for the first time 2 weeks ago and did great! No cavities! You love riding your scooter and swimming! You love pizza, toast, and honey vanilla yogurt.
You make mommy and daddy so proud to be your parents. We just adore you.

I pray you would know Jesus at an early age and that you never stop asking questions. I ask that God would fill you with compassion for everyone around you and that you would seek to please others and not yourself.
I pray you would be filled with the fruits of the spirit and not boast in yourself or worldly possessions. I pray that your daddy and I would be amazing, Godly parents. That we would lead by example and be gracious, forgiving, patient, and kind towards you always. I pray that God would use you in a mighty way for His kingdom.
