Wow! I don’t think that has ever happened. I also cooked king ranch chicken and that has NEVER happened either! Haha!
We had a fun day despite the horrible, rainy weather here in Houston on my day off! I took a nap at 10:30 when Ainsley went down. I have no idea how I am able to take naps that early but I am! So thankful that my husband also watches Oakland while I take naps!
We decided to go bowling since the park was not an option! We had so much fun! Ainsley was a mess because she only wanted to walk around and play the crane game! She loves it since Jerod ALWAYS plays that game when they go to HEB and he always wins!!! It’s crazy!
Ainsley was not in the mood for a picture. Clearly.
Oakland beat me the 2nd game! Love bowling but didn’t love the price! We paid over $50 to bowl 2 games and get 2 appetizers! Sheesh!
so it’s now 9:00 p.m. and I have showered now just need to tidy up before our maid comes tomorrow! ( She only comes once a month and is a tremendous help~) I also just finished Oakland’s application for Kindergarten at my school! I cannot believe he will be in K. Time flies by way too fast especially with 2 kids!
My King Ranch recipe:
1 can cream of chicken
1 can cream of mushroom
2-3 chicken breasts
1 can of rotel
corn tortillas
1 bag of Mexican cheese
I boiled the chicken breasts in broth and then layered the dish pan with corn tortillas that were dipped in the sauce mixture. Layered with chicken, cheese, and more of the mixture. Topped with more corn tortillas and cheese. cooked for 25 minutes at 375! SO easy and didn’t take long to prepare. Do YOU have any quick and easy recipes to share? I would love them! This is seriously the first time I have cooked in probably 2 weeks :/
Here’s some pics from the weekend!

Bowling is such a great activity for little people {and big ones too!}. That was such a great idea since it was horrible Houston weather yesterday. {I guess it technically is still winter! 🙂 } Enjoy the short week!

I love bowling, but haven't been in forever! Maybe when my son is a few months older, we could go for a family night. That recipe looks delicious!

I'm such a terrible bowler. I use the kiddie bumpers. Haha! You little ones are adorable… =)
