eat, bathe, sleep. { nightly routine in that order }

That is the order in which our nightly routines consist of. I feed the kids around 6:30, they play for a bit, then its bath time around 7:00, and lastly we read books, sing, and pray together by 8:00. This summer has changed our routine a little bit… the kids have stayed up a little later and they both want to read books in Oakland’s bed… at first I didn’t want to because I did not like changing Ainsley’s nightly routine… it was out of the ordinary. What if she didn’t sleep well because we weren’t reading in her bed? I am big on routines but this one seemed fine to change since they wanted to be together šŸ™‚

What they eat varies and for Oakland it consists of usually the same things.. ( Chicken, turkey dogs, plain pasta, peanut butter sandwiches, turkey, or pizza) Ainsley eats pretty much the same stuff except she loves pasta sauce and mashed potatoes! Oakland LOVES pb sandwiches and Fun Bites makes the coolest food cutters! The cutters come in three different shapes: hearts, squares, and triangles!

Thank you for visiting us at FUNBITES. My name is Bobbie Rhoads. My husband and I have two girls ā€¦ Jackie who is now 14 and Dylan who is 10. About five years ago we came up with FUNBITES. Thatā€™s when the picture was taken of us ā€“ now we are all a little more grown up.
Jackie has always been a great eater. She would eat pretty much whatever you gave her as long as the food was neat and organized. My little one, Dylan, was a different story. She was truly picky nicky ā€“ she liked the same food all the time, didnā€™t like to try new things, unless it was junk food. At meals we would spend so much time cutting food into small bites. Wouldnā€™t it be easier if there was something that we could just press down on their food and bippity boppity boo! ā€¦ food would be made into bite-size pieces? Maybe our kids would try new foods and eat better; maybe mealtime could be less stressful and more fun. Is that even possible?

I have recently decided to try and go as natural and organic in my home. Regardless if I grew up with these products I still wanted to try and implement them into my household and my children. Before Ainsley  falls asleep there are a few things that take place. We always read, sing a few songs, and then pray together. She does not take a paci anymore (woohoo) but does sleep with a lovey, her blanket(s), and baby dolls.
 
She loves her new rag doll from Gal- Pals ! Not only is she adorable BUT she has red hair like Ainsley also!
