Being a mother…

requires you dance and sing out loud.
requires you to be a model.
means you will be loved deeply.

Being a mother is the most amazing thing in the world. You have so much on your plate. You are being watched constantly. Make sure that what you are doing and saying is pleasing.

Mother,
 If you are struggling right now to make ends meet, if you are struggling to be home in time to put your children to bed, if you are working over time to provide food and clothing for your children, if you are working, if you are staying at home, YOU ARE LOVED and YOU ARE DOING A FANTASTIC JOB!

Being a mother is a lot of work but YOU, my friend have been CALLED. If you have an off day do everything in your power to make the next day better than the last. Love your children not just by telling them but by DOING ( showing up everyday)

I remember being pregnant with my son and scoping both Pinterest and Etsy for what seemed like hours looking for the perfect piece of nursery wall art. When I found out I was having a little girl a year later I once again turned to Etsy and Pinterest to help make her nursery complete. Coming from a long line of artists however I felt as if I could create much of what I was seeing so I decided to paint nursery and children’s room illustrations and bought my first set of watercolors when I was 6 months pregnant. It has been a whirlwind ever since between being a work at home momma and juggling a baby and a toddler but it has also been a blessing. I have since branched out to painting any theme desired by my customers and am grateful that they choose me to be a part in decorating their homes. 
 
 
 
I am in love with the 2 custom pieces Barbara created for me. Her skill is amazing and I love how she was able to recreate every little detail in the picture I sent her and put it on paper!

  2. So beautiful! Motherhood is by far the hardest and most rewarding job ever but I wouldn't trade it in for the world. You are so right – we ARE constantly being watched by our little ones and I have to remind myself to be the best version of myself around Marli. You are doing SUCH a wonderful job hun!   3. I love this! Motherhood is ridiculously hard and ridiculously fun at the same time. And yes, I always say that actions speak louder than words and every day I try to remember that – I need to show my daughter that she comes first (not my phone!) and how much I love her and not just tell her that. These drawings are gorgeous!!!
