We are called to L O V E PLUS my Valentine's Gift Guide

I love holidays!!!!! I especially love a day that is centered around LOVE. Shouldn’t that be everyday though?

Love can be a beautiful thing. Love is a choice. Love is a feeling. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not keep any record of wrongs. Love is the opposite of hate.

I love getting the opportunity to love others as I have been called to by God, my creator. He instills love within us. He makes loving others even possible. Without Christ I am nothing. Without love I am nothing.

Why is loving others so hard at times. Well for one…. we are selfish beings. They might do something to get on your nerves. They might act a certain way. They might say something about you to your face or behind your back.

No matter what they do you are called to love them.

Mark 12:31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

I don’t think you need one day out of the year to tell someone you love them and shower them with gifts. That’s just an added bonus. Every single day you should tell someone you love them. Every day you should do random acts of kindness to show your love. You don’t have to buy that special someone something.

You can clean out their car, give them a back massage, make them something handmade, you can spend quality time with them… the list can go on and on.

But if you choose to buy them something I have a great list of things to get that special someone!
