“Snack” is what I hear all day long. That is Oakland and Ainsley’s favorite word at the moment! They would snack all day if I let them!
I am pretty picky when it comes to snacks… I do try and choose ones that are natural, safe, and affordable. My kids are also pretty picky. When We received our box of goodies from LoveChildOrganics and Sweetie Pie Organics my kids ripped them open like it was Christmas!
I was pleasantly surprised with them all being organic how good they actually tasted. Usually when the product says “organic” or “natural” my kids seem to always know and reject them!
Ainsley demolished the pouches from Love Child! She kept asking for more! They are so convenient and come in many different flavors! I also love that I can buy them at the following retailers:
Here is a little bit about Love Child Organics:
In a world of health conscious parents and confusing ingredient labels, Love Child Organics was created on the promise of delivering truly healthy, organic baby and children’s food products.
Everything started when Leah and John’s first born, Poppy, and later, Cam, entered their lives.
As new parents, they were shocked (and frustrated) to discover most of the ‘organic’ baby food and children’s snack products contained unnecessary additives that were certainly not ‘real food’ and too often, also contained empty ‘filler’ ingredients that provided little nutritional value.
Leah, an experienced and enthusiastic home cook, began preparing her kids’ 100% clean, organic meals at home, and always added superfoods to ensure that each bite provided optimal nutrition for growth. She wanted her children to grow up with an appreciation for healthy ‘real’ food, right from the start, and for clean, nutrient packed food to be her family’s norm. Prior to becoming a mom, Leah worked for many years as a teacher of students with special educational needs, and she knew, without a doubt, the importance of a healthy diet for children’ optimal growth and development.
With Leah’s homemade recipes in hand, Love Child Organics was born, with the hope that all children could have access to truly honest, pure and delicious organic food that would include as many nutritionally-rich and natural ingredients as possible. As a husband-and-wife team working side-by-side, Leah and John aspire to create only the highest quality organic baby and children’s food, and to run their business with a sense of social responsibility, making a difference on larger scale. This is only the start for Love Child Organics, and Leah and John look forward to the privilege of growing their product range alongside you and your families. From the Love Child Organics’ kitchen to yours.

Great choices! I'm always looking for ways to sneak veggies in my 3 yr old's diet. He's pretty much opposed to anything that's remotely associated with a vegetable. 😛

We use these types of snacks for on the go. At home I prefer to make it myself, like apple sauce or fruit salad. Brynn's favourite word is also snack! She loves bananas (nana), and smoothies (juice)
Britany Ashmore says
Oh yes on the go for sure! Ainsley loves fresh fruit and her favorite snack is nana haha

Ez used to love those fruit & veggie pouches and then all of a sudden he just started rejecting them. I guess that's toddler fickleness for ya. Those wafers look promising though, maybe he'll just think they're cookies 😉

I'm so glad that more companies are going to all natural. First Kraft, then Nestle, and these companies probably lead the way.

This is awesome. Thank you so much for the great read. I'm trying to get on the path of eating healthier and more natural/organic and this is a perfect way to start. Not to mention, my son is going through a phase where his eating habits are becoming a little pickier so this could definitely help because they have fruits & vegetables already in them!! I will absolutely be making a trip to Walmart! 🙂
