My son is about to be 10! I cannot believe I just wrote that. He is really into playing sports and being outside with friends! He’s getting taller by the minute and actually starting to smell. I couldn’t believe my nose when I smelled a not so familiar smell from his underarm the other day.
It was time for deodorant. Most boys start developing signs of puberty anywhere from ages 10-12. Sometimes as early as 9! I thought we’d have more time! Time is such a thief isn’t it moms?!
We decided to give him an Old Spice Swagger Dorm kit! He was really excited to use Old Spice deodorant for the first time! We showed him how to use it and how often to use it.
It’s really important to instill healthy habits in your boys at an early age. I swear getting him to brush his teeth is sometimes the most difficult!
We want him to be able to know how to have proper hygiene.
He needs to brush his teeth twice a day at least.
He may wear deodorant now.
He knows how to fix his hair with hair gel.
He has his own bottle of Old Spice Swagger body wash and knows how to properly clean his body.
He knows how to use the Swagger shampoo and conditioner. He uses the 2-in-1 product!
I am really thankful I have a husband who is super involved in getting our son ready for the school day. He picks out his clothing and helps style his hair. It helps me out a ton! Old Spice Swagger products are a great addition to your son’s daily school routine.
You can head HERE and and get your Old Spice Swagger Dorm Kit with a pair of fun Old Spice socks!
With the new school year, Old Spice also created the Old Spice Cyber School of Saving Swagger, an interactive, online course teaching young guys everything needed about saving their friend’s swagger – overcoming those hurdles like too much gaming and screen time that keep them from having good times with guy friends. My son loved it!
How is your son handling back to school routines? Has he hit puberty yet or started to wear deodorant?
