How to plan a STRESS FREE Star Wars party!

Planning a party can be an extremely daunting task! When Oakland was younger all of his parties were at home. I love planning them, making the decorations, labeling everything, providing cute snacks, and finding cute things from small businesses! See Ainsley’s 1st birthday party and Ainsley’s 2nd birthday party ! 

All of Oakland’s parties up to 4 years of age were at our house. His 1st party was a carnival/circus theme. His 2nd was a cowboy party and we had pony rides. His 3rd party was a John Deere tractor party and we had tractor rides. 
Starting at 5 years we started to have his parties at venues! This really took a lot of pressure off of me and left me with little to plan or bring… which was pretty nice!
His 4th party was at Main Event. His 5th party was at an Indoor Soccer place!
So for his 6th party it was determined pretty early on that it would be a Star Wars themed party!
There is so much out there when it comes to decorations for Star Wars and luckily I found some amazing INSTAGRAM shops to help me! 
Here are 4 easy steps to planning a stress free Star Wars party!
  1. Find your theme. In this case it’s STAR WARS! You have your theme, great! Step 1 is done!
  2. Figure out your venue. Preferably one that takes care of everything! Oakland wanted a bowling party so we went with Tomball Bowl !
  3. Find the perfect Invitation! Of course I went with Tiny Prints ! 
  4. Find Instagram shops by hash tagging!  I used #starwars & #starwarsparty
That’s it!! I was not aloud to bring in outside food or drinks! The beautiful Cake and the cupcakes I made were the only food items I could bring. This made planning the party SUPER easy!

Tiny Prints provided the labels and invitations! LOVE personalizing anything I can before they reach that certain age where they don’t want their name all over ever

This cake was amazing and was SO DELICIOUS!! Check out Ruthy’s Cakes , especially if you’re in Houston! 

 A huge hit were these cookies right here! Enchanted Cookie Boutique did a phenomenal job!!!!! The cookies looked fabulous and they tasted SOOOOOO good!! If you need cookies Shanan is your girl!! She ships from Utah and I got them in 2 days and they were still tasty 5 days later!

The banner/ cupcake liners/ favor boxes/ cupcake toppers are all from Pink Sky Design ! I found them on Instagram using my hashtags I mentioned above! I love being able to connect with small businesses through Instagram! Otherwise I would’ve never heard of them nor seen their talent!

 The cups, silver/black garland, masks, confetti, and water bottle stickers are from Creations by Jazzmine Rose ! She is based out of Canada and I found her by using the hashtags above also! All of her stuff was adorable and the kids LOVED the masks!! She put a lot of work into these pieces and I can tell! I highly recommend her!

  3. The favors and cupcakes are my favorite!! I love how the theme is cohesive in all aspects of the party! Looks the kids had a lot of fun! I'm so happy that it was stress free for you because parties definitely tend to be stressful!!
